Frequently Asked Questions

How does Activity Streak Pro work?

Activity Streak Pro reads your activity data from Apple Health and uses iOS Screen Time to block apps you choose. Once your Move, Exercise, and Stand rings are all closed for the day, the blocks are automatically lifted and your selected apps become accessible again.

Which apps can I block?

You can block any app installed on your iPhone — social media, games, streaming services, or anything else. Simply select them in Activity Streak Pro's app picker and they'll be locked until your rings are closed.

Does it work with my existing Apple Health goals?

Yes. Activity Streak Pro reads your ring progress directly from Apple Health, so it respects the Move, Exercise, and Stand goals you've already set on your Apple Watch or in the Health app. You can also set custom targets inside Activity Streak Pro if you want a different threshold.

What if I don't have an Apple Watch?

An Apple Watch is required to track your activity rings. Activity Streak Pro relies on the Move, Exercise, and Stand data that the Apple Watch records throughout the day. The app will not function without one.

Can I bypass the block without closing my rings?

The blocks are enforced through iOS Screen Time, which is designed to be difficult to bypass. Deleting Activity Streak Pro will not remove the Screen Time restrictions — you would need to disable Screen Time entirely, which requires entering your Screen Time passcode.

What happens to my streak if I miss a day?

If you don't close all three rings before midnight, your streak resets to zero the following morning. There are no grace periods or exceptions — that's what makes it work.

Does the app collect my health data?

No. Activity Streak Pro reads your activity data directly from Apple Health on your device and never transmits it anywhere. There are no accounts, no servers, and no data collection of any kind. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Is Activity Streak Pro free?

Activity Streak Pro is available as a free download with core functionality included. A Pro upgrade is available via one-time purchase to unlock advanced features like custom ring goals, multiple blocking schedules, and detailed streak history.

What iOS version do I need?

Activity Streak Pro requires iOS 16 or later. Screen Time API access and Apple Health integration used by the app are not available on older versions.

Troubleshooting

App isn't reading my ring progress

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Activity Streak Pro and make sure all three activity permissions (Move, Exercise Minutes, Stand Hours) are set to Read. Then open Activity Streak Pro and pull down to refresh your ring data.

Blocked apps aren't unlocking after I close my rings

Activity Streak Pro checks your ring status periodically throughout the day. After closing your final ring, allow up to 5 minutes for the blocks to lift. If they don't clear, open Activity Streak Pro manually to trigger a sync.

Ring progress looks out of date

Apple Health syncs from your Watch periodically, not continuously. If your Watch hasn't synced recently, the data in Activity Streak Pro may lag behind what your Watch shows. Keep your iPhone and Watch near each other to ensure timely syncing.

Screen Time isn't blocking the apps I selected

Screen Time must be enabled on your device for blocking to work. Go to Settings → Screen Time and make sure it's turned on. If you have Family Sharing set up, ensure Activity Streak Pro has permission to manage Screen Time restrictions.

My streak disappeared after updating the app

Streak data is stored locally on your device. If you see a reset streak after an update, please contact us at [email protected] with your device model and iOS version and we'll look into it.
